1978 Triumph Stag - £9995

May 8, 2012

Just arrived we have this lovely Triumph Stag, finished in striking Tahiti Blue with tan interior.
This particular car has had a fastidious owner for the last four years, and several careful ones before that, who have all looked after it and kept it in the condition you see today, with a hefty file showing that it has been maintained regardless of cost. The bodywork is in very good condition, having had a full repaint a couple of years ago, and the paint finish is superb. On the outside all the brightwork is in very good order, including refurbished original alloy wheels, new tyres and a new dark blue hood.
On the inside the Stag is as you would expect, with the original tan trim in very good condition, new carpets and an additional club supplied tonneau cover/wind deflector fitted over the rear seating area. This is totally removeable, but when fitted is very discreet and reduces the wind in the cabin significantly.
Driving the Stag is a pleasure, the auto box really suits the car and the original Triumph lazy V8, which in turn is very smooth and remarkably quiet. The engine is so quiet, that when waiting at the traffic lights I thought it had stalled! This has been fitted with a custom header tank to overcome the old Stag overheating issues and it does the job admirably. The car also feels very modern the drive, the ride is smooth and comfortable, plus there is power steering and electric windows which make it a little more effortless.

1978 MGB Roadster - £5495

May 8, 2012

A lovely late MGB Roadster, finished in brilliant Vermillion, with black leather interior.
This particular car has low ownership history, having had only 3 previous keepers from new, and appears to be in very original condition. It has been repainted once in its life in the original colour, but does not appear to have been subject to any major restoration work. You will note from the photos that all the shut lines are very good for an MGB and I can state that the underside is dry and rust free without the usual patchwork of poor repairs usually associated with MGB Roadsters of this vintage.
Having done about 40 miles in the car I 'm happy to say that driving the MGB is a pleasure. Once up to temperature the the B pulls very well and feels very good on the road. There are no bumps or rattles and the suspension on these later cars is very supple making it ideal for touring. The engine is strong and smooth and gearbox is precise with fully functional overdrive.
Inside the car it is the usual late MGB black, but the seats in this car are leather, and in very good condition, which makes it feel a little more upmarket. All the carpets and interior panels are in good order and it feels a nice place to be.
On the outside the bodywork is very good and the paint finish is also very nice. All the brightwork is in good condition and the rubber bumpers have no  marks or scuffs. The vinyl hood is also in good condition, plus there is a hood cover / tonneau, which fits extremely well. This car also has the benefit of a fitted towbar, which mated to a camping trailer or small caravan could make it a very nice weekend getaway car! There are nearly new tyres all round and new stainless beauty rings on the original RoStyle wheels.
All in all this is a nice unmolested car, in very good original condition, which will be supplied with 12mths MOT, ready for a summer of weekend touring!

2004 MGF Roadster - £2995

April 27, 2012

A nice little MGF, finished in electric blue, with black leather/blue alcantara trim.
This MGF would make the ideal funky runaround or sunny day second car. The body and paintwork are in good condition, the hood is also very good and it comes fitted with factory alloy wheels.
The 1.6 engine is lively and the performance and handling are quite surprising, plus the driving experience is nice and smooth. With MOT until next year, its ready for some summer cruising!

Citroen Hayabusa Saxo Race Car - £14995

March 21, 2012

And now for something completely different!
Ever fancied going racing in something that looks pretty standard, but packs a hefty punch? Well this could be the car for you.
I have been asked by our good friends at JMA Automotive to advertise their "Busa Saxo", a fully developed semi space frame Hayabusa powered Citroen Saxo. Built as a pure race car this awesome little thing was designed and built by JMA Automotive, and features major modifications including a mid mounted Hayabusa engine, fully modified / adjustable suspension, competition brakes, competition chain drive transmission, space frame rear end designed and built in house, plus other detail mods far too numerous to mention.
This totally unique car was raced in the 2011 CNC Heads Sports and Saloon Car Championship and is now only for sale due to a heavy workload.
Should you not feel to need to go racing, but still feel "the need for speed" this little Citroen would also make a fine and interesting track day car. JMA have stated that they are happy to offer advice to the new owner, spares are available and they could also help run the car and develop it further if required.
Finally please note, THIS IS NOT A ROAD CAR and could not be made into one either, for example the headlights are stickers!
